Neath Port Talbot UK Steel Grant

The UK Steel Grant is a joint initiative between Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council and UK Steel Enterprise Limited.

The aim of the grant is to assist new businesses in Neath Port Talbot with finances and premises in order to grow and create jobs.

Grants of up to £500 (100% of eligible costs) are available.

New businesses under 24 months old based in the Neath Port Talbot County Borough area are eligible to apply. The business must provide full time employment for at least one person and the applicant must explain how the grant will have a positive impact on the business.

Costs incurred before a grant application has been approved are ineligible.

Eligible costs include:

• ICT equipment
• Development of websites
• Marketing
• Building works to business premises
