Baillie Gifford also supports STEM scholarships for Women within the School of Design and informatics at Abertay University.
The Scholarship is opened to students commencing year 2 of the Mental Health Nursing degree. There are four scholarships available.
Students who have overcome challenging circumstances to attend university, are from a low-income background, or are at risk of leaving their studies will benefit from the scholarship. However, the students who can demonstrate within their application how the scholarship can help them and has ambitions to work in Mental Health Nursing after they graduate will receive the scholarship.
Eligibility To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
Be able to demonstrate a financial need for support in the application form Be able to demonstrate that applicants intend to have a career in mental health nursing when they graduate Be willing to meet the award conditions set out in the guidance notes.
